چکیده

Abstract Most of the available commercial surfactants precipitate due to hardness formation water. The study surfactant generated foam and its stability is very complex multifaceted pattern common physicochemical properties. This research involved generation by using blended their evaluation in terms enhanced oil recovery (EOR). objective this systematic screening based on capability produce stable presence two different categories crude oil. Surfactant types such as non-ionic, anionic amphoteric were selected for experimental study. was with oil, synthetic brine water 34,107 ppm used concentration both decay, liquid drainage longevity investigated measuring volume above level. 0.6wt%AOS C14-16 , 1.2wt%AOS + 0.6wt%TX100 0.6wt%LMDO resulted maximum 50% decay solutions noted time. findings demonstrated that dependent type either individual or concentration. blend solution combines excellent

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Formation of CdS Nanoparticles in Microemulsion Using Different Co-surfactant and Water to Surfactant Molar Ratio

Cadmium Sulphide (CdS) nanoparticles were prepared using microemulsion method using cadmium chloride as cadmium source and sodium sulphide as sulphur source. The obtained nanoparticles structures were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) whereas optical characterization was done by Ultra Violet-Visible absorption. XRD result shows that CdS nanopart...

Phase behavior and interfacial curvature in water-oil-surfactant systems

Even during 1995, 60 papers appeared using cosurfacrant in their formulations . If one does not have the choice of optimal surfacrants (there may be various commercial or scientific reasons), it may be helpful to use these add itives (e.g. in emulsion formulations, see below). Quantitative measurements of structures and their interpretation is facilitated, however, if one restricts oneself to t...

Microorganisms and Crude Oil

Crude oil is one of the most important energetic resources in the world. It is used as raw material in numerous industries, including the refinery-petrochemical industry, where crude oil is refined through various technological processes into consumer products such as gasoline, oils, paraffin oils, lubricants, asphalt, domestic fuel oil, vaseline, and polymers. Oil-derived products are also com...
